I just returned from a workshop on QR codes. These are the black and white square codes that are popping up everywhere. You may have even seen them on business cards while at Jackson. The codes are an instant way to access websites, movie trailers, download v-cards, access online profiles, etc via a mobile device with a camera. Many exciting current and future uses of QR codes were thrown around during the session. You can make you own customizable QR code online for free. There are dozens of sites, just google “QR code generator”. To be able to read QR codes, you need to download a QR scanner application on your iphone, droid, blackberry, etc. Happy Trails!
